It is Maori Language Week - Te Wiki o te Reo Māori Joelle has chosen the a Maori lengend, Paikea the Whale Rider. Maori ancestor Paikea journeyed to Aotearoa on the back of a whale called Tohora. Paikea descended from Tangaroa (God of the Sea) and was sent a whale to come and rescue him after his brother sank the canoe they were travelling on and he arrived safely on the East Cape of New Zealand. 

Write a story using animation in either Scratch Junior or an Explain Everything format.

You can be creative as you like.

Draw a picture of the whale.

 Add more details and colour.

Choose which movements to use on Scratch Junior.
